Real projects, real outcomes

A selection of engagements Isstah has delivered across banking, government, financial services and real estate — security, cloud, identity and infrastructure work that made a measurable difference.

We are judged by what we deliver. These engagements show how Isstah re-engineers, secures and modernises critical IT environments — with a validation-first approach that prioritises correctness and minimal disruption.

Banking · UAE

Enterprise Firewall Platform Migration

A leading UAE Islamic bank needed to migrate its perimeter security from a legacy Sophos UTM to a current-generation Sophos Firewall (SFOS) high-availability cluster. Because the platforms handle routing, NAT and web-proxy very differently, every web-filter profile, firewall rule and policy had to be re-engineered natively rather than copied — across a heavily segmented banking network with numerous third-party integrations.

OutcomeA fully rebuilt, validated HA firewall platform that preserved identical behaviour for users and systems, delivered through a validation-first methodology and a controlled, low-risk production cutover.
Government · KSA

Enterprise Network Monitoring Transformation

A major government social-insurance authority ran a fragmented, over-licensed PRTG estate — one core server overloaded with ~16,000 sensors, another under-used, and a non-compliant DR site on a free licence with no unified view and entirely manual device onboarding. Isstah consolidated and modernised the entire monitoring platform across Head Office and Disaster Recovery sites.

OutcomeA unified 50,000-sensor Enterprise platform with full licensing compliance, balanced load across servers, and automated CMDB-driven (Device42) device onboarding — giving real-time visibility across the whole infrastructure.
Financial Services · DIFC, Dubai

Hybrid Identity Remediation

A DIFC-regulated investment firm faced recurring identity issues — unreliable sign-in after password changes, broken self-service password reset, and new devices not appearing under management. Isstah traced these to root causes in the hybrid Microsoft Entra ID configuration and remediated them in structured phases.

OutcomeA stabilised hybrid identity foundation: modern, supported directory sync with working password writeback, reliable self-service password reset, cleaned-up identity hygiene, and devices enrolled under Microsoft Intune — fully documented for the client and their MSP.
Real Estate · Dubai

Microsoft 365 Security Hardening

A Dubai-based real-estate firm engaged Isstah to assess and harden its Microsoft 365 environment across identity, email, collaboration, compliance, endpoint and threat protection — aligning the tenant with Microsoft best practice and establishing a managed, auditable baseline for the in-house IT team.

OutcomeStrengthened security posture across Exchange, Purview, Defender, SharePoint/OneDrive, Entra ID and Intune — Microsoft Secure Score improved from 72.4% to 74.3% and Identity Secure Score from 53% to 54.8%, with a full knowledge-transfer session and handover documentation.
